A day in the life of Patrick and Candy

Goodmorning Family and Friends!!!!I was sitting on the couch this morning with Eddie and drinking my tea when I thought,"Its not fair that Elizabeth and Leah get to put all these cute pictures of their goings on during the day." So with my brilliant mind I said to Candy,"Hey Candy, why don't we take some pictures of our day to put on our blog." She just looked at me with a stupid look on her face, so I proceeded in my own humour that she obvious didn't get.

Any hooo!!!! Here are some pictures of the things we were up too today. Enjoy!!!!

Our Christmas Present to Us!!!!

Well family and friends, we have some very exciting news. As some of you might know, Jeff and Heidi McNairn are moving to Kelowna because Jeff got a pastoring job there. So they needed to sell their house.

Candy and I have always like their house and thought, "Hey, we should buy it!!" So we did!!!

You are now(or at some point) looking at the pround new owners or soon to be owners of 259 Derby Place. We are so excited for this to finally be possible. And all the praise and thanks goes to the big Guy up stairs. God is Great!!!

We will be taking possesion January 31, 2007 @ 12:00 pm. So if anyone wants to come help us move you are more than welcome. Candy will be out of commission at that time because she is getting surgery on her right wrist on the 15th, which is also great news. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bath, kitchen etc. upstairs and a spair room downstairs with an office and laundry. And it also has a 1 bedroom suit. It is just perfect for us and sometime in the, lord willing, near future or family.

Did I say God is Great yet!!!

Wel, thats it. Hope you are all doing great and enjoying shopping for the big day. We are ooking forward the fun times we will have in the next few days, but we will also be missing my little sis and crew a ton.

Love you all, BLESSINGS from your Bro,

Patrick

PS. I will get some pictures of it up as soon as I get them from Jeff.

Happening's in the Animal House

Well, not much has been happening around here. Our two little ones aren't as exciting as my sisters little ones, that I adore by the way. I had a great 30th Birthday party with friends and family. It was great to have Elizabeth and the family here to celebrate.

Jack absolutely loved the snow. He would go outside and play for hours and not want to come inside. He stayed out so long his feet froze and started to bleed. Crazy dog!!! Candy would have to tempt him with a treat to come inside. Eddie was a different story. He chose to watch Jack from inside.

Candy is now back to work part time because her claim for short term disability was turned down(dorks!!!). But she is happy to be back doing something again. She was going a little squirrely being cuped up at home. I am enjoying being full time now. It is nice to see and get to know the patients each day. They all miss me when I am not there which is flattering.

Well, I think that is all I can think of to tell you. We will try and take some pictures to show you. But we always seem to forget.

Love you all tons,
Patrick and Candy

PS. Bucky the rat is no longer. Somehow he got caught in a thing called a Rat Trap. You might remember it from the game we used to play as kids at grandma's

Just thought I would try it

Well, well, well. I am now a blogger. Woooooohooooo!!! I am so excited. Things with me and Candy are just great. We are involved in a great couples small group and we are doing the book "Love and Respect" by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. So there is alot of that going around in our small humble basement dwelling.

Jack and Eddie are there usual selves. Everything revolves around food for Jack and snuggling on your lap for Eddie. We also have and addition to our family. He is the cutest thing you have ever seen. I have applie named him "Buck", because of his buck teeth. We have yet to see him, but we hear him every night around 3:30 am and are starting see evidence of him under our bathroom sink.

I also have my big 30th birday coming up. If you want to know what to get me, I have yet to say no to the throwing of money(I do prefer 100 dallar bills though). Or if you would like to get me some new clothes that would work too I guess.

Well, that is really all I can think of to tell you right now. In closing I would like to take a quote from the book Love and Respect. "Wives respect your husbands and and husbands love your wives."

Blessing on all of you who read this,
Patrick
